Author Biography

Tristan De'Geon (pronounced Di-Jon) King Sr. was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan.According to him his hobbies are sports, reading/writing, exercising, traveling the world and spending time with his family. Also he admits he is an adrenaline rush thrill seeker. He discovered his passion for writing at the age of seven due to never being able to fully express himself verbally. As a teenager he won numerous awards for Poetry and as a result had some of his poetry published before he was 19 years old. He also had dreams of being a doctor. A dream where he was a year away from his residency but was cut short due to Institution and law changes. According to him this pushed him towards the only thing he cared about more than becoming a doctor, and that was becoming a writer. He describes his writing style as versatile yet honest and creative. He began writing short stories non of which he ever published but it wasn't until his wife pushed him to write a web-series for her to star in being that she is an independent film actress that he realized his potential. " I love telling stories, people say I paint pictures with my words" he says. " I would dream of things, places and people I never seen before and I couldn't explain them unless I wrote it all down. When ask why he wanted to write a book his response was this " I wanted to leave my mark in this world. I wanted to leave the world with something where even after I am gone my children and grandchildren can see something their father and grandfather accomplished. We cant tell our children they can be or do anything in this world and they do not see us strive to be or do what we want. Children follow our actions more than they listen to our words. So we must truly lead by example. Show them greatness and they will try to imitate it". This is Tristan's first published book but as he stated " there are many more to come". He now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and three children
