Author Biography
Fred Gardner was born in Princeton NJ, To Alfred Wild and Sandra Hebard Gardner and his siblings, Alf, Birch and Mary. At age 10 he and his family moved to Colorado. There growing up in the 70's with older brothers who grew up in the 60's, one can only imagine the influences. Fred's mom was a highly regarded garden guru, so all got to work in the garden. Fred was the only one who liked it. To walk through his garden now spring, summer or fall is enchanting to say the least. In short Fred has been; Drawing for 50 years, Gardening for 49 years, a husband for 34 years and a father for 28 years. He's been in the creative business for 35 years and currently lives, works and plays in Colorado with his wife Debi and their little dog Lil. His son Caleb and daughter Morgan also live, work and play in Colorado.
