The Children of Mu follows the lives of three people; one in the present day, a Chinese archaeologist named May-Ling, one from 2000 years ago, a Philosophical Taoist monk, and a third, Mu, a cavewoman of ancient China, who, over 12,000 years ago, may have been the first human to consider both religion and writing.

Author Biography

Arthur H Tafero is a writer born and raised in New Jersey. After high school and a stint in the US Army, Mr. Tafero moved and worked in New York City for the next several years as a teacher, professor and public lecturer. He is a featured speaker for the New York Council of the Humanities on the subjects of Confucianism and Taoism and has lectured at Dowling College, CW Post, and Columbia University in New York. Mr. Tafero is a graduate of Columbia University with an MA in Educational Administration. Previously, he had attended Jersey City State College (now New Jersey City University). He has been a worldwide recognized Sinologist, who has published numerous books on China as well as personal collections of short stories and two novels. He is married to Wang Lijun (Cici) Tafero and is the father of three children: Thomas, Elise and Joseph. Mr. Tafero is the owner of askmrmovies.com, a repository of over 2500 movie reviews and has a hobby of collecting movie memorabilia from the 1930s.
