by Kristine L. Wilkes Esq (Author)
Written by a professional athlete, herself a senior, this book will advise all seniors (and other adults) how to get and stay in shape, maximizing health, lifestyle and longevity. The book covers weight training and cardiovascular training techniques, stretching, meditation and recovery, and diet suggestions, along with much more. It will benefit all mature adults looking to start or improve their workout regimen. It contains easy to follow, simple instructions and illustrations for workouts for each body part, and total body workouts for all levels, including warm up, stretching and cool down. These workouts can be done in the gym or at home, with minimal equipment, primarily light dumbbells. Authored by an age 60-plus professional athlete, who is still competing at the national level, and who specializes in teaching senior fitness classes, no book can better help you get and stay in shape, and stay young.
