by Deb Hamel (Author), Alena Karabach (Illustrator)
After a day of shopping in downtown Colebrook, New Hampshire, Debber and
Daddy go home and get to work on clearing up debris from a recent storm.
Working on the trails around the hunting camp, they hear the
unmistakable sounds of a moose walking through the forest. Daddy teaches
eight-year-old Debber all about moose and explains how large they (and
their antlers) are. Debber is excited to learn that both of her parents
have seen moose. Mommy even saw one in Moose Alley, not too far from
home on the way to Errol. She and Daddy plan an outing to Moose Alley,
and along the way Daddy teaches Debber about respecting Nature. After
the trip to Moose Alley, Debber dreams of a fashionable, friendly moose.
