"The Dog With The Crooked Tail" is at the heart of an anti-bullying and self-confidence initiative called "The Milo Project".
The purpose of this story is two-fold. First, is to encourage every child to understand that their differences are what makes them special in their own unique way. This realization will assist them in developing a healthy and positive self-confidence in themselves. Possessing this self-confidence will contribute to the second purpose of the story, which is to promote anti-bullying, by using their own self-confidence to help others understand, that they too, are special in their own unique way.
