Emmuska Orczy was a Hungarian-born British author and artist. Orczy was born of nobility and would go onto become one of the greatest authors of the 20th century. Orczy's best known works are her classic novels featuring the Scarlet Pimpernel. The Elusive Pimpernel, published in 1908, is the 4th novel in the classic Scarlet Pimpernel series. The book centers around a French agent who is determined to get revenge on the Scarlet Pimpernel for humiliating him.
