Sefiyat Olaide Tijani, BSN, RN is an experienced nurse, midwife, public health practitioner, and healthcare practitioner with over two decades of experience in Nigeria and the United States. From the University College Teaching Hospital in Ibadan, where she started her career, to Texas, where she has taken numerous leadership roles, she has impacted the lives of hundreds of patients.
A graduate of Chamberlain University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Sefiyat, whose experience extends to critical care, maternal and child health, psychiatry, hospice and palliative care, dementia care, community health, and nursing administration, combines clinical excellence with compassion in her career. She is also committed to mentoring younger professionals and promoting ethical, patient-centred care.
Outside her career, the author is passionate about service to humanity and empowering the less privileged. From her humble beginnings in Nigeria to an outstanding career in the United States, her life is a testimony of the importance of faith, hard work, and the power of humility and kindness.
