The inspiration of this writing is birthed by a great hunger for the things of God. The spiritual condition of our nation has compelled me to expound on the teachings of revival and the prophetic manifestations that long for the Light of Jesus Christ.
In many prophetic teachings the lessons of Elijah are invoked as inspiration to the greatness of God amid a fallen generation that gives way to the wiles of the devil. It will be no different in this essay. In the 46+ years I have been in ministry, I have longed to see, touch, and move in the glory of God. I have spent years studying the great revivalists. The likes of Finney, Whitefield, Ravenhill, and countless others have given flame to the fire burning in me for America's next great awakening. This book will explore the foundations that seem to me are necessary to bring about this move of God, to touch His heart for such a great commission, and ready ourselves for the growth of His kingdom through a great harvest of souls.
It is a prophetic work that I seek to accomplish in this writing. My fondest hope and prayer is that it touch the heart of every reader to seek righteousness and Christlikeness to the core of their very being. Jesus died for it and let us NEVER believe it was in vain.
