Kloey is a baby kangaroo who lives at a zoo, but she has no other kangaroos to keep her company. After trying to fit in with the wallabies, she starts feeling like she'll never find a family. However, there is a kangaroo named Camilla at a nearby farm who longs for a joey of her own, so the farmer decides to bring Kloey to meet her. They become fast friends, and Kloey never wants to leave Camilla's pouch. But Camilla is also good friends with the farmer's cat, and Kloey struggles to share her new friend with someone else.
