Author Biography

LOIS LENSKI was the author and illustrator of more than ninety books for children during her lifetime. A Newbery Medalist and a Children's Book Award recipient, she is best remembered for her illustrations in Maud Hart Lovelace's Betsy-Tacy books and for her Mr. Small series.
