I always enjoyed writing assignments in school, and when my mom died when I was fifteen, writing became a grieving, healing tool. I didn't realize just how much until later in life, when I was in my forties. This is when my sister found a box of various items I had left at her house, and she sent them to me. In the box were many of my writings I had saved. My daughter and I began reading them, and a great deal of them were about my mom. My daughter and my dear friend Linda convinced me to take my writing seriously. And so with the Lord's love, compassion, and guidance my writing journey began. For all I am is only through HIM, and without HIM I am nothing.
