Tommy Shipp is a graduate of Louisiana College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He has served as a pastor in Alabama, Louisiana, and Oregon. He served for thirty-two years as pastor at First Baptist Church of French Settlement, La. He and his wife, Edwina have been married since August 24, 1963 and are the parents of three grown children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
