In 1989, Nishioka Tsuneo, Menkyo Kaiden of Shinto Muso Ryu Jo published the "Jodo Jikai". Extract from Nishioka Sensei's Introduction to the book: "I have been thinking about what Japanese martial arts are, what I am supposed to take over from Sensei, and what impels me to keep practicing without getting bored.
