by Casimir Valla (Translator), Robert Bellarmine (Author)
St. Robert Bellarmine is every Marian devotee's kind of Saint.
He never lost a debate when it came to defending Marian doctrine and devotion.
He was so smart, that when he made St. Robert a cardinal, Pope Clement VIII said...
"The Church of God has not his equal in learning."
This is the only collection of his Marian writings in one place. And in this collection, you'll discover the masterful ways he defended Mary's privileges, including his foolproof defenses of the Immaculate Conception centuries before the Church formally defined it.
Plus, he gives you the only defense of the Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen) from an apologetics point of view.
On top of that, this collection includes his Marian sermons.
Blessed Pope Pius IX said...
"God has committed to Mary the treasury of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace, and all salvation. For this is His will, that we obtain everything through Mary."
Now, as surprising as it may seem, Jesus also needs (yes, NEEDS) you to learn what St. Robert teaches about Marian apologetics, doctrine, and devotion, because of the souls He wants to save through you.
Your reading about this proves you're not like most people.
Here's why...
God says...
"The perverse are hard to be corrected, and the number of fools is infinite" (Eccles. 1:15).
Which means God can't count on most people to use good judgment in their own best interest, especially when it comes to working out their salvation.
Jesus confirmed this when He warned...
"How narrow is the gate and constricted is the way that leads to life. And few there are who find it!" (Mt. 7:13-14)
The fact that you're reading about a book like this on Marian apologetics, doctrine, and devotion proves you are NOT among that infinite number of fools.
That's why you're well-qualified to help Jesus save souls.
As you know, He said, "The Son of Man has come to save that which was lost" (Mt. 18:11).
And even though He tells you...
"For without Me you can do nothing" (Jn. 15:5)...
He has willed not to save souls without your help.
That's why Pope Pius XII wrote...
"Because Christ the Head holds such an eminent position, one must not think that He does not require the help of the Body. Yet this, also, must be held, marvelous though it may seem: Christ has need of His members. Moreover, as our Savior does not rule the Church directly in a visible manner, He wills to be helped by the members of His Body in carrying out the work of redemption.
"That is not because He is indigent and weak, but rather because He has so willed it for the greater glory of His spotless Spouse" (Mystici Corporis, #44).
Our Lady insisted at Fatima that the situation will only get worse if you don't help Jesus save souls...
"Pray, pray much, and sacrifice for sinners, for many souls go to hell because there is no one to sacrifice and pray for them."
Which means, in God's plan, you have a tremendously important role to play in the salvation of souls. Our Lady affirmed - because she speaks to all of us - souls will spend eternity with Satan in the "furnace of fire" (Mt. 13:42) unless you help Jesus save them.
Because Our Lady says souls urgently need help, and because Jesus can't count on most people to help Him save them, I have to ask, can Jesus and Mary count on you to learn Marian apologetics, doctrine, and devotion from the most learned man in the Church, so they can save souls through you?
You must help Our Lady now, because, as she said at Fatima, time runs out for many souls every day.
Because Pope Clement VIII said about St. Robert, "The Church of God has not his equal in learning," why don't you give this book a try?
