by Derek Morphew (Author)
The Mission of the Kingdom is a study of the theology of Luke in Luke and Acts. Luke's two volumes cover about 25% of the New Testament. Any writer who has contributed this much has to be important. Further, Luke is unique because he provides the big picture story of the kingdom, from the birth of Jesus, through his life and ministry, then Pentecost, and then into the early church and right up to Rome. Luke-Acts is the missions document in the New Testament. As one delves into his works there is so much more that emerges.
