My grandchildren, Astrid, age six, and Ethan, age five, often asked me to tell them a story. Astrid was instrumental sharing her ideas as to how and what each story should be about. Ethan gradually joined in. We live in the West Kootenays, a rural area in British Columbia. We share our love of farm and wild animals and the stories are often based on fact. We all contributed to each story's content.
