Will Shortz, crossword puzzle editor of The New York Times since 1993, has also founded and directs the American Crossword Puzzle Tournament and World Puzzle Championship, and serves as Puzzlemaster on NPR's Weekend Edition Sunday. He lives in Pleasantville, New York.
