Author Biography

Dr. Preston L. Waddington, PHD, PA, is a Psychoanalyst in private practice specializing in top athletes, particularly golfers, helping them to perform to their maximum potential under pressure. Preston is a member of the International Association of Self Psychology and is certified by Westchester Institute for Training in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis. Don Lay is a former touring and teaching tennis professional. His students include the Kennedys, the Shrivers, Oleg Cassini, Peter Grace, Cliff Robertson, and Jimmy Buffett. Don's career on the tennis court, along with his background in psychology, has made him a lifetime student of how athletes learn, and how best to communicate this process. Don is currently a golf psychology writer for TeeTimes Magazine.
