About the Author First time author Norma Armstrong McNeil, MSSW, LCSW graduated in 1968 from Lambuth Methodist College in Jackson, Tennessee with a bachelor's degree in Divinity. She completed her masters degree in social work in 1987 from the University of Tennessee. She also received a Certificate of Applied Gerontology from the University of Mississippi.
