The Purple with Pink Polka Dot Ponies - Paperback

by Rochelle Carithers (Author), Caressa Weber (Illustrator)

When a car accident shatters a young girl's Olympic gymnast dream, Callie, now wheelchair-bound, feels her dream is lost forever. Until... one special night some very different guests, sisters Gypsy and Jasmine, ponies with wings, visit Callie at the hospital along with a pesky little bug called Spots. Come join Gypsy and Jasmine as they learn about their magical powers, and follow Spots' blinking purple light as he attempts to teach them about their new abilities. Enjoy the antics and scrapes they get into in their endeavor to help Callie, and the journey to meet Krugerrand, a dressage horse who will show Callie there can still be an Olympic dream - Para-Equestrian. Laugh as the ponies try out their new wings (much to Gypsy's dismay), sneak into the hospital and, wherever they turn, a squeaky-shoed nurse always seems to be right around the corner. Follow Callie on her adventures as she realizes that she can still have an Olympic dream, and meet her pesky little brother, Jack, a pint-sized cowboy who insists on coming along for the ride. Horse lover or not, you will truly enjoy this first book in a series written by Rochelle Carithers.
