Author Biography

Mandy Bailey began teaching General Music in Grades K-5 in 1998 after graduating from East Carolina University with a degree in Music Education and is a National Board Certified Teacher in Early and Middle Childhood Music. She has had several creative music teaching ideas and lessons published in national music educator magazines, MusicK8 and Music Express. She serves in leadership roles at both local and state levels in NC to create lessons and curriculum for K-5 music. She created the Rhythm Ninja to teach her students about rhythms being slashed in half.
