Author Biography

Marcus Cassius Julianus is the founder of the Julian Society, Co-Founder of Nova Roma, and the founder and Senate President of Byzantium Novum. He has founded numerous Internet resources for the modern practice of ancient religion, including the Mithraeum website, and the Mithras List on Yahoo Groups. Marcus Cassius Julianus lives in Maine, and in addition to his work to revive various aspects of the Roman world he runs a printing business, is a dealer in ancient coins and artifacts, and is an avid treasure hunter. He maintains that ancient history is the greatest treasure of all, however, as it is filled with forgotten knowledge and spirituality still waiting to be rediscovered.
