The Royal Hen House at 851 is a fictional, humorous tale about a chicken named Queen Catherine. When three new chickens are introduced to the hen house whilst the queen is out, all appears to be well. Queen Catherine has other ideas about uninvited guests at her lodgings. This children's story is based on real events in country Victoria and highlights some of the peculiarities as well as the character of chickens, not to mention their incredible egg laying ability when all is well.
