Jesus taught that we are to love the Lord with all our heart, soul, and mind. He also taught that we are to love our neighbors as we love ourselves (Matthew 22: 37, 39). This study examines the seven deadly sins and how they can hinder us from loving God as well as our neighbors. These are the sins of: 1. Pride 2. Envy 3. Anger 4. Slothfulness 5. Greed 6. Gluttony 7. Lust While none of us likes to think of ourselves as capable of such sins, all of us have exhibited them to one degree or another.
