Scholars regard Daniel's prophecy of the "Seventy Weeks" or "Seventy Sevens" as the hardest prophecy in the Bible to interpret. This is because God wanted it's meaning "sealed" until the time of the end (Daniel 12:4). If we are living in this time, the meaning of this prophecy should be unveiled.
There are several "keys" to understanding this prophecy, and also errors constantly made by scholars. One of these errors is ignoring one major "key"-the system of "counting years" God commanded in the Law of Moses. Every seventh year Jews celebrated the Sabbatical year-or Shmita. They were commanded to count these "special years." This revelation is the "first step" towards the meaning of Daniel's prophecy being "unsealed."
This could mean the next Shmita (Sept. 20, 2028-Sept. 9, 2029) is the year of the prophesied alliance of the "Little Horn."
And before this, an unprecedented cataclysm would fall on humanity.
