Spinning tangled wads of fiber into neat lengths of yarn is a transformative act. No wonder lives are transformed in The Spinning Wheel Maker. A young couple digs through old German letters the cabinetmaker who'd built their mansion left behind, seeking romance. And while the Letelliers find that in spades, they also learn how Lemuel Kunz turned the tragic warp of his life into gold by weaving in threads of generosity and sacrifice. And when Kunz mysteriously shares the plans he used to build his spinning wheels, he empowers the young wife's troubled brother, Lars, to turn his trauma into treasure as he sets about reproducing the wheels with the cabinetmaker's original lathes and tools. Get ready for another rewarding journey as the community of Prairie Plains demonstrates once again how leading with love spins healing thread from strands of hurt.
