Stainstone is a typical English market town. It boasts a very fine Parish Church dating back to the 13th Centuryand a weekly market with a charter granted nearly as long ago. It has all the usual public buildings. Library, Town Hall, Museum etc., and the inhabitants are like those you will find anywhere in the country. aged 83 discovered his ability to write late in life A retired Police Officer he first started by writing poetry.
