2022, Florida. Duncan Ainsworth, a former USAF pilot going through a rough patch, is recruited by Blek Industries to test a new, highly experimental hypersonic flight system. The test flights are to be conducted with Lucie Delosnier, the French scientist in charge of the system and a thorn in his side, as his copilot. Unfortunately, early in the test phase, they lose control of the airplane and go through a strange zone of turbulence only to re-emerge in the skies of war-torn France in ... 1917!
Author Biography
A former pilot in the French Navy, Frédéric Zumbiehl has since turned to writing. Always insisting on hyper-realism, he wrote the scripts of several military adventure series such as Team Rafale and Unité Félin, and was picked to replace Francis Bergèse at the helm of Buck Danny. Patrice Buendia is a writer specialised in aeronautical adventures, who notably contributed several volumes to prestigious series such as Buck Danny and Tanguy et Laverdure. As a multi-talented comic artist, Olivier Jolivet has several series under his belt, including La Brigade du Rail and Team Rafale, with Zumbiehl.
