Author Biography

Laurie Trumble Davis is a book lover who lives in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, with her family. They spend their summers on Cape Cod at Schoolhouse Pond, where Gus, her French bulldog, believed he was the best swimmer on the pond. And he was. . . especially when wearing his life jacket! A lifelong lover of books, fun, and adventure, she is passionate about stories that help children develop strength, courage, and self-confidence.

Paulette Bogan is the author and illustrator of many beloved books for children, including Virgil & Owen, Virgil & Owen Stick Together, and Bossy Flossy. She lives in New York City with her family. They spend their summers at the Jersey Shore, where Moof, her Havanese, is afraid of the water and doesn't like sand on his paws.
