Two and a half years ago, a tragedy occurred that almost destroyed my family and me.
I lay curled up in a fetal position on the floor of my bedroom closet, sobbing so uncontrollably I could barely breathe. I truly felt like I was going to die from the grief and anguish. My heart was shattered into a million pieces. In a matter of seconds, I lost my daughter, my grandson, my home, and my way of life. You may think that something beyond my control did this to me, to us, a tornado or a car accident. But the cause of this devastation was my own doing: I had an affair.
This story is about how the pieces of my shattered life were put back together under the care and love of the Lord. I not only survived but came out on the other side as a transformed person in an intimate relationship with God.
