Author Biography

I was born and raised in a small, lovely valley hidden away in the rugged hills of Eastern Kentucky. My mother and grandmother taught me the value of plants for use as food, medicine, and cosmetics at an early age. My love for the beauties and wonders of nature has grown exponentially since then. At ninety-five, I am still active and reasonably healthy, which I attribute to hikes in the woods and eating nature's bounty.
