The Year: 2020 - Paperback

by Kerri Farrell Foley (Author)

This anthology seeks to provide a service. Our world moves at an increasingly rapid pace; words and memories become disposable, and we often find ourselves stopping to ask, "how did we get here?" This book serves as a record of our world as it changed. 2020 was a notable year in many aspects. From politics to environmental concerns, the world was irrevocably altered. This book contains poetry and prose dedicated to these vast, sweeping topics, alongside tales of personal struggles and triumphs. The overall tone of this collection is a reminder that changes never occur in a vacuum. The details of our daily lives are affected by the broad societal changes around us, and vice versa. Even where cause and effect may be veiled, there is always connection.
