Jay is determined never to return to the mental hospital she's escaped from. Which is why when her car crashes in the middle of blizzard she decides to take her chances in the nearby woods. Just when she thinks all hope is lost she comes across a cozy cabin deep in the woods. The cabin's sole resident is a handsome man named Laurie. He confides in Jay that he's also recently escaped from an abusive mental hospital but is reluctant to tell her what he was sent away for.

As the storm rages on feelings between the two are growing stronger but Jay has a feeling there's a dark secret Laurie's keeping from her.
