About the Author: John R. Hill, Jr. John R. Hill, Jr., is a member of Eureka Lodge #36, Free and Accepted Masons, Prince Hall, in the great state of New York and has been a member for more than 29 years. He has served his lodge by holding many elected and appointed offices including twice as Worshipful Master. He has served in a variety of appointed offices at the state level, and been elected as a trustee for the corporation that manages a property that houses a youth camp, supported by the Masons and Order of Eastern Star. John is a founding member of the Frederick Douglas Toastmasters Club #6898. John received a Computer Engineering degree from Boston University and has worked as an individual contributor, designing hardware and writing software, and as a manager during his 30-year career. John is an inventor on four patents. He has received his Project Management Professional Certification in 2002 and his ITIL(R) Foundations Certification in 2012. John has served in a leadership role for numerous community organizations in Rochester, NY. He has served as Board President for Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Greater Rochester, NY, and as Chair of a leadership development program within the United Way of Greater Rochester.
