Through a better lens: Is the Biblical God really that good?! - Paperback

by Martin K. Rae (Author)

Do parts of the Bible text ever make you wonder whether God is good? In this world there is pain and suffering, evil and manipulation. In the Bible there is violence, Hell and judgement as well as acceptance, hope and love. How can the same God create all of these?
Illustrated by miracle-like personal stories, Through a better lens offers new perspectives on these tough issues. Firmly based on the Bible, it offers insights from history and challenges our preconceptions. It reminds us how simple and straightforward Jesus' teachings have always been: teachings that are challenging yet still credible today, and powerfully, heartachingly beautiful.
Full of observations on the human practicalities of Christian belief, this book is for the person deconstructing their Christian faith, and the one who wants to defend it; perhaps even the one who wants to attack it.
