Poetry puts us in the presence of a magical sky at midnight and to feel the pleasure of fuzzy socks in the morning. Poetry allows us to hear from talking teddy bears and golden ghosts. There are puppies and singing trees, old dogs and autumn leaves.

Trade the loudness. Beneath the cover of a book, within the pages and among the words is an opportunity to delineate an acquaintance with a world so much other than the loudness.
