Author Biography

Laura Marie has worn many hats over the years. As a young adult, she was an accomplished studio guitarist and singer working with notable artists and performing in venues throughout the US. In the early 90's she worked with several pioneering dot com companies as a graphic designer and web programmer. Over the last 10 years her career has taken a unexpected and rewarding turn. What was to originally be a temporary position, has lead Laura Marie down the path to a full-time passion for care giving.

Laura Marie's book provides a unique and personal look at some of the people that she has cared for over the years. She has also teamed with professionals to also provide a practical and easy to understand reference guide for both the professional and family caregiver.
