Author Biography
Ricarda Huch nació en Brunswick en 1864, estudió Historia, Filología y Filosofía en Zúrich y fue una de las primeras mujeres alemanas en obtener una titulación universitaria. Galardonada por su labor literaria con el prestigioso Premio Goethe en 1931, fue la primera escritora elegida para formar parte de la Academia Prusiana de las Artes, cargo que abandonó posteriormente como protesta por la llegada de Hitler al poder. Además de poemarios y biografías, Huch es autora de las novelas Aus der Triumphgasse, Der Fall Deruga y Frühling in der Schweiz.
