Dr. Ron Simmons is Co-founder, and CEO of Free N One drug and alcohol program that is in operation nation wide. Free N One means (Free from drugs and alcohol and one in Christ) Currently Free N One operates in Chicago, Milwaukee, West Virginia and Boston. Free N One trains congregations in the how's the why's and what to do from a biblical perspective in the area of Christian drug and alcohol recovery. Dr. Simmons is also is a licensed Christian Counselor and is the Director of the Substance Abuse Department for West Angeles COGIC where Bishop Charles E. Blake is the Pastor. He is also a Certified Counselor licensed by the State of California. Dr. Simmons fulfilled his requirements as a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor and studies at UCLA. He author of "Understanding Christian Drug and Alcohol Recovery" and his next book "Recovery Towers" will come out this year. . In July of 2006 Ron received a Honorary Doctoral of Divinity from Southern California School of Divinity for the work he does in the community.
