Drawing on decades of experience in the restaurant business, as well as his passion for running and sailing, Doug Zechel, former owner of Saunders at Rye Harbor, under the name KD Mason now weaves compelling and entertaining tales of mystery, romance and suspense on the NH Seacoast. He continues to live on the Seacoast with his wife and two cats, Molly and Sweet Pea while his two grown children and their families live in Nevada and California.
