This collection of poems explores the themes of perception and complicated, morally grey feelings that many individuals experience throughout life. Emotions like happiness, anger, confusion and sadness are easy to define, but they are different for every person. Jennie wanted to portray some of these difficult feelings into text, to show validation and hoping others would relate and not feel alone in their circumstances.
