This is the second edition of my history of the Washington Grove Camp Meeting Association, from its inception in 1877 to its demise in 1937. The period of its existence, beginning at the height of the revivalist camp meeting era and waning after the Chautauqua era peaked and then crashed, was strewn with colorful characters, all trying to make sense of their times.
