Watercress, the bunny, believes its going to be a beautiful day. After all, its his birthday. Hes a very lucky rabbit as he receives gifts from his friends. He gets a kiss from Miss Bella the butterfly, and he smells a lovely flower, a present from Bobby the bee.
But, soon, a cry from the Enchanted Forest interrupts his reverie. His mother has warned him never to enter the forest. Nevertheless, Watercress creeps slowly into the woods where he discovers a fox caught in a trap. Against his mothers advice, the rabbit frees the fox.
