What is the Real Story? - Paperback

by Barbara Flug Colin (Author)

WHAT IS THE REAL STORY?

The dream tells the real story. The truth of what was and is.

I drive to the dreamed place where I was first being driven from home.

The next neighborhood. A ceiling. The same elevated structure I dreamed.

Now I can tell the real story of the EL and how the BMT Brighton Beach line

is trained, suspended, engined, tracked on parallels. Still, the real story lies swaddled

in darkness below. Even deeper than grounded shadowed sound those moving vehicles determine.
