She received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005, but left the life of a pharmacist behind when presented with the opportunity to work for the Church. She received her Masters in Theology from the Augustine Institute in 2019. An empty-nester, she resides in Colorado with her husband.
