Author Biography

Beverly has been a clinical social worker specializing in issues of attachment, trauma, and grief over 45 years. She is a founding member of ATTAch (The Association for Training on Trauma and Attachment in Children). She has presented workshops on attachment and grief throughout the country. This book reflects her respect for a child's perspective in dealing with loss, death, and grief. It highlights the ability of children to understand the natural cycle of life and death. Beverly says, "The children have taught me so much about the acceptance of 'what is' in life including the acceptance of its ending." Beverly is a wife, mother and grandmother. She lives with her husband in Seattle, WA. She continues a therapeutic practice in Kirkland, WA.
