by K. Jay Chow (Author), Bill Ogden (Author)
This is a series of random short stories about being young, single, and male in a Southern California beach town in the early '60s-still with a touch adolescence-cruising around visiting exciting places and dating pretty girls-some of both no longer exist-in a shiny new Corvette that was later sold only to be reunited with its original owner some forty-one years later. (All color photographs in the Appendices are in BLACK & WHITE)
Author Biography
Bill Ogden has been in the insurance manufacturing and distribution business continuously since 1961, with only two companies his entire career. Now as a consultant with one, he has more time to tinker with his old cars, especially the Corvette featured in this story, and to recall those times when it was more of a companion than anything else. And even at seventy-three, there are still more adventures to recount as the little Vette stands as a daily reminder of those fun days and nights so long ago.
