Where the Balloons Land is a continuation on the song 99 Red Balloons. Part One: Safe Atlas follows the journey of the first 42 balloons. Taking place at an underground rave, this disabled teen experiments with club drugs and begins to retrieve memories he had long since blocked out of his memory. This book described club culture, speaks out for those suffering from PTSD and constructs social justice for those who knew the main characters. This is the first book of the series. This book was created in associate with the nonprofit art collective Ollie Over Art [Collective] and is apart of an ongoing fundraiser for Seattle Children's Hospital. Two dollars from each copy sold will be donated to them.
