About the Author
From teen mother to grandmother of nine, Cindy Brinig's life has been quite a journey. Brinig started her career working with teen mothers, running support groups and public speaking. She spent much of her life as a stay-at-home mom, while working with her husband in his painting business. Together they enjoyed trips to Costa Rica, Jamaica, the Bahamas, and Mexico that inspired her to learn more about the world. But it was when she became a grandmother that she became more interested in politics and religion. Her hope for a better world for her grandchildren inspired her to write Where Were You When the World Fell Apart?
Brinig was born and raised in Minnesota, where she now lives.
